Cooking is a Love Language
My grandmother was the best cook I'll ever know. Her cooking was simple, hot, and plentiful. She never sat down and ate with us, she just kept shovelling delicious food onto our plates. As I got older I realized that was her love language and her love kept us full.
My grandmother also loved her community. She lived in a small town in Arkansas, and there always seemed to be an endless line of people coming through her screen door and sitting at her table. She loved everyone.
Because of her, I have a deep love of food and a deep love for my community. I've lived in my Oregon home for nearly 20 years and my love grows deeper every day. That's where Kevins's comes in.
